Haus Große Kettler in Bad Laer

Very nice and helpful staff, nice swimming pool and new sauna, breakfasts also ok, private parking in front of the hotel. With a clear conscience, I can recommend this hotel for a stopover.

Very comfortable hotel ... Food was great ... Service was great ... As a "middle-aged" woman, I even liked the Kurpark! But I mustn't praise too much, otherwise I won't get any more space? .... All jokes aside ... What I particularly like is that there was no drop in performance even the fourth time! Keep it up!!!!

Very nice and attentive staff and an even better meal delighted us on our first visit! Rarely - maybe never - have eaten such a good steak: meat of the best quality and fried on the POINT. Certainly not our last visit to the Große Kettler house!

The menu is clear and there is something for everyone. We had Galloway beef steak with fried potatoes and noodles with fresh mushrooms as a vegan dish. The food was wonderfully seasoned. The portion size was okay (for some it could have been a bit more). The service was very friendly. All in all, it was a very successful evening.

This hotel is just great, beautiful, well-kept rooms, very varied and delicious food. Wishes are gladly accepted and immediately fulfilled. The staff is responsive and friendly. Again invites you to a vacation☀️??☕

Was there today for coffee with a friend. Sat there for 1/2 hour and no one came. Then I went into the house wearing a mask and didn't find anyone at the reception, office, restaurant or lounges. Then I went straight to the kitchen and found someone there who was supposed to handle the following tasks at the same time: reception, telephone, cleaning the kitchen and outside service. That doesn't work for me at all, not even if 2 colleagues are sick. Each had ordered different sheet cakes. I apple with cream and my companion cherry / cheesecake with 1 pot of coffee each. Apple cake was very good - only the cream was spray cream - a no go for me. The cherry cake was hard and not fluffy at all. Despite sharing the cherry cake, my companion could no longer eat, could no longer eat 1/4. The jug of my companion was so covered with dust that she wrote a big question mark on it. So no recommendation.

Very good cuisine. Here you can eat super delicious, value for money. I can't say anything about the hotel.

We went here for lunch. The salad buffet was fresh and had a sufficient selection, with a very tasty yoghurt dressing! The main course was very tasty and everything was fresh. Likewise the dessert. The dishes from the special lunch menu were varied and there was something for every taste. The service was friendly and attentive. I liked it.

Very nice little hotel in a good location. Totally nice! The whole staff is friendly and helpful. Swimming pool and sauna are available. To emphasize is the exceptionally good kitchen! Always fresh always delicious! The hotel is located at the spa park there is a beautiful playground for the kids. An artificially created pond with ducks and swans very clean very nice. Furthermore, you can use in the park and a Kneipp pool completely free. Beautiful. The rooms are modern and clean. All in all very recommendable!

Service is great very friendly and helpful. The food is awesome had beef 3 nights in a row and it only got better and for breakfast its a buffet so you can go back for more. Can't smoke in the rooms but they all have balconies going there again in 2 weeks

The best quite hotel in Germany I've ever seen. Great stuff and comfort. Very delicious restraint. And there is a lake for a walks near the hotel.

Super nice staff, completely uncomplicated with changes by illness. The kitchen deserves an extra star. Always very tasty. Price also very cheap.

Really nice hotel. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The rooms are bright and friendly. The bathroom is modern. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and has a landscaped indoor pool. The breakfast was rich. Highly Recommended!
